Biography:

Grace serves as a Mortgage Banking Consultant for First National Bank. In this role, she has responsibility for meeting clients, determining their goals and needs, and assisting them with the best loan structure to meet them for the Bank’s lending footprint: DE, FL, GA, IN, KY, MD, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, DC, and WV. She is passionate about problem solving and specializes in portfolio lending such as: Construction Financing, Doctor Loans, Jumbo Loans, Land Loans, and other unusual scenarios.

Grace joined First National Bank in 2023, with more than 10 years of financial industry experience. Prior to First National Bank, she served as Senior Loan Officer for George Mason Mortgage in Richmond, VA. She attended Norfolk Academy and the University of Virginia and additionally holds a certified residential underwriting credential through the Mortgage Banking Association.

She resides in Richmond, VA with her husband, Jim Maxwell JD/EA, and their young son. In her free time, Grace can generally be found with her animals: She has a Great Dane and a rescue bulldog mix, and three horses. As an avid equestrian, Grace competes across the country in Hunter/Jumper events.
