Union Bank Acquisition FAQs

All Union Bank branches will close at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022, and will remain closed on Saturday, December 10, 2022, to prepare for the transition. FNB branches will be open during their normal hours but will not have access to Union Bank customer information.

The converting Union Bank branches will open for business as First National Bank branches on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 9:00 AM.

Union Bank debit cards will continue to work at ATMs as well as for purchases through conversion weekend and will cease to work as of 2:00 AM on Monday, December 12, 2022.

New FNB Debit Cards were mailed to Union Bank customers in November. Customers can activate their new FNB cards and begin using them at ATMs as well as for purchases on December 9, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

You may continue to use your existing Union Bank checks and deposit slips unless otherwise specified. When you need to reorder checks and/or deposit slips, you will receive checks with FNB’s logo and routing number.

You may continue to use your existing Howard Bank checks and deposit slips unless otherwise specified. When you need to reorder checks and/or deposit slips, you will receive checks with First National Bank’s logo and routing number.

The terms and conditions outlined in your loan documents will remain unchanged and any fees and late charges will be assessed in accordance with your existing contract. Automatic payments will continue without interruption unless notified in a separate mailing.

Beginning on Monday December 12, 2022, loan payments can be made:

• At a local First National Bank branch.
• By mailing payments to First National Bank, P.O. Box 6122, Hermitage, PA 16148-0922.
• Using Online or Mobile Banking to pay or transfer funds from an FNB Checking or Savings Account.

Beginning December 12, 2022, we will be happy to assist you at your local FNB branch. Once you have established Online and Mobile Banking access with FNB after December 12, 2022, you can also contact us via Secure Chat through the FNB-Online website or the FNB Direct mobile device for Apple.

If you were not contacted by members of our Treasury Management team, your access to your business accounts is through our Personal and Small Business Online Banking service. To get started, visit our consumer and small business Online Banking website to re-establish your account access.

If you had multiple Login IDs for your Howard Bank personal or small business accounts and those accounts were associated with the same Tax ID or Social Security Number, we selected one Login ID to migrate to our personal and small business Online Banking platform.

Generally, if you had both business and personal Login IDs, we migrated your personal Login ID. If, during our analysis of your usage activity, we opted to migrate your business Login ID, or if you had multiple business Login IDs, we contacted you directly and provided you with the Login ID that you should use to enroll in Online and Mobile Banking at FNB.

Your Union Bank transaction history will not be converted to FNB Online/Mobile Banking. Online statements will be available via Online/Mobile Banking on December 30, 2022. To ensure you have retained all of your transaction information, we recommend printing your Union Bank transaction history and online statements prior to Friday, December 9, 2022.
